AV112, one of the few Volvo Olympians A/C 11m equipped with Dot-Matrix board for destination and route no, was found on route 118 as an "order" vehicle. The photo was taken at entrance to the X-Harbour tunnel at Hung Hom - added on 10/7/99

A 12m Dennis Trident, ATR8, was seen working on route 271. 271 was the first route to receive Tridents in the Tai Po area with KMB routes (except Long Win's E41) - added on 15/7/99

3AV100 was seen on cancelled XHT route 100. Note the special livery advertising the route itself. Those 3AVs used on the route were all fitted with Radios for some reason(?) - added on 1/8/99

Citybus :

1. Early Dennis Dart 1420 of the company on the route no. 7. Taken at Central Ferry Pier - added on 5/7/99

2. Another early Dart of the comany, 1403, operating on Western Harbour Tunnel Route 973 - added on 5/7/99

3. This early Dart was on the holiday route 314 on one Sunday and seen at Siu Sai Wan is 1416 - added on 5/7/99

4. Non-franchised member in the Citybus fleet 105 was seen at Admiralty MTR while serving on route 629 - added on 5/7/99

5. Here, 1409 was running on XHT route 117. Route 117 was deleted as new route 917 replaced the job of the route 117. Also, route 117 was one of the few routes to have vehicles as small as Dart to operate - added on 10/7/99

6. A very unusual sight when 1538, a MAN low-floor single decker was on route 10x and running on the wrong street. The route is not supposed to go via the outside but serve for the inside of Central - added on 15/7/99

7. 2500, a double-decker low-floor MAN, had once been allocated to Franchise II and therefore was on route E22 for a period. Now, it was back to Franchise I and serves around the Central district. Here, 2500 was seen on route E22 at Tung Chung - added on 1/8/99

New World First Bus :

1. Ex-CMB Leyland Victory LV15 operating on route 64 or 66. Please note the route blind and the board in front of the driver - added on 5/7/99

2. Another ex-CMB Leyland Victory LV9 operating on route 94x. It has still got the Chinese New Year advert when seen during Easter - added on 5/7/99

3. New vehicle of NWFB, a duple bodied Dennis Trident, 3042, operating on route 2 heading for Shau Kei Wan - added on 5/7/99

4. 1630, a 10.6m Dennis Trident was seen operating on route 781 on a sunny day soon after entering into normal services - added on 15/7/99

5. Also a new vehicle of NWFB, with wave-shape orange, 1077, a 12m Dennis Trident was on new route 2x which runs between Wan Chai Ferry & Shau Kei Wan - added on 15/7/99

6. A repainted old vehicle from CMB, ML2, now with NWFB livery, looks a bit odd. The vehicle was working on route 8 with a banner advert about the new route 2x - added on 15/7/99

7. 2010, a Pointer II bodied Dual-Door Dart, new from NWFB, was seen on route 4x. Normally the route uses double deckers, mostly Dennis Condors - added on 15/7/99

8. A newer 12m Trident of the comapny, 1146 was caught on Morning Rush Hour Special Route 948 - added on 15/7/99

9. Another repainted old 2nd hand vehicle, SF16, looks very odd and revulting. It was found on route 88 - added on 15/7/99

10. 2062 is now painted with a beautiful advert of Cathay Holidays. It was found on route 13 when seen - added on 15/7/99

11. DA37, with advert about WXHT route 970 designed by CMB, was caught on route 4X on one Autumn morning last year. The route number was newly established that time changing from 504 to 4X - added on 1/8/99

China Motor Bus :

1. An unusual scene with MC8 on XHT 104 during rush hour on one weekday morning - added on 5/7/99

2. Also very unusual to see Leyland Fleetline running on XHT on the very late period of CMB's life. Here LF281 was seen on route 111 - added on 5/7/99

3. MCW 11m 2-axled vehicle MB25 was seen on route 18 heading for West Point - added on 5/7/99

4. Volvo Ailsa AL1 was operating on route 114 before the opening of the Western Cross Harbour Tunnel - added on 5/7/99

5. The first Leyland Victory supplied to CMB, LV1, was seen here at Wan Chai Ferry Pier. It was caught on route 8 - added on 20/7/99

6. MC4 & MC10 were both seen at Central Star Ferry, both on hill-climbing route 13. Both vehicles are now under NWFB but are already withdrawn... - added on 20/7/99

KCRC Bus Branch:

1. Leyland Opympian, 208, was found on route K16 at Kowloon Station. This photo was taken before KCRC gave up certain feeder services between KCR stations and places nearby - added on 7/7/99
